Where It All Began
DroneShala Nepal was founded with a simple belief: everyone deserves access to world-class drone training, right here in Nepal. What started as weekend workshops in Kathmandu has grown into a full-fledged training institute recognized by CAAN.
Our founders saw a critical gap between the growing demand for skilled drone pilots and the lack of structured, accessible training programs in Nepal. We set out to change that — combining a modern online LMS with intensive hands-on field training to create a learning experience that actually works.
Today, we've trained over 1,200 pilots across Nepal, partnered with government agencies and private enterprises, and continue to expand our course offerings to meet the evolving needs of the drone industry — both locally and internationally.

Founded in Kathmandu
DroneShala Nepal started as weekend pilot workshops in Balwatar, Kathmandu, born from a passion for accessible drone education.
First CAAN Batch
Conducted our first official CAAN-certified commercial pilot batch, graduating 24 pilots — all of whom passed on their first attempt.
Online LMS Launched
Launched our proprietary online learning management system, making drone theory courses accessible to students across Nepal and abroad.
Government Partnerships
Signed MoUs with the Survey Department and Agriculture Ministry to deploy trained pilots in national mapping and crop-monitoring projects.
1,000 Pilots Milestone
Celebrated training our 1,000th pilot — a milestone that cemented DroneShala as Nepal's most trusted drone training institute.
Expanding South Asia
Began accepting students from across South Asia for specialized courses and launched BVLOS and FPV advanced programs.
